Due to logistical problems, the next reunion will be held in Montery, California and a new date will be announced in the near future.
The reunion was originally scheduled for July 29 - 31, 2011 but this may have to be changed in order to get better hotel rates. It is possible that an anuual motorcycle Grand Prix race might be scheduled for the same weekend as the reunion was originally scheduled for and this could cause the cost of hotel rooms to triple. As soon as we are able to confirm the date of the motorcycle races, we will announce the new date of the reunion.
Montery is aproximately a two hour drive south of San Francisco and it is in close proximity to beautiful beachs, great surfing, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, and hiking thru redwood forests/national parks.
John Arrasjid '83 and Bill McNamara '77 are the main organizers and are working on hotel arrangements at this time. As soon as they are finalized, they will be posted here. Some of their ideas for the reunion include:
- Welcome party on Friday evening
- Special excursions for attendees on Saturday and Sunday such as a barbecue in the redwoods (location to be determined), whale watching, visiting state parks, or visiting the Monterey Aquarium
- Saturday evening banquet with a DJ/Karaoke and an "open mic"
- Sunday brunch

Ms Kay Chaudhri, a science teacher at Bahrain from 1976 - 1989, brought the book about her time in Bahrain and sold many copies. If you're interested in finding out more information about the book or buying a copy, check out her website.
